Lich/Lich (King/Queen)

Basic Lich
Advanced Lich (King/Queen)

Special Cost 0

Disadvantages 35% starting HP, 50% starting MP, 75% STR
Misc
Description
Trivia

Lich characters have a pale complexion

Notes
  • Be sure to pay attention to your max HP limitation. Once you hit 100% of your base HP(Paladin's HP), you will no longer gain max HP bonus for kills. It is best to use Conversion ability if you are capped and feel confident that you can stay alive with 50% HP, so you don't waste any kills. Using Conversion multiple times is also the only way to reach max MP cap.
  • Conversion only converts your max HP, not your current HP. If you are below 50% of your current Max HP and use Conversion, you will not lose any HP in the process, only Max HP.
  • You don't lose MP outside the castle, but Conversion works, making it possible to accidentally halve your HP before even starting.
  • To start off a game with a Lich, you should gain health with the enemies from the main part of the castle.

Basic Dragon
Advanced None
Abilities
Spells Dragon Fire
Special: Flight

  • Regenerates 4 MP every 0.5 second
  • Unable to attack with sword or jump.
  • in order to interact with chests, you must press your to "jump key/button" first.
Stats
Advantages Rapid MP regeneration, far reaching standard attack that allows complete nullification of certain enemies' special abilities, permanent flight makes lots of maneuverability challenges trivial
Disadvantages 40% HP, 25% MP, every attack consumes MP and can't go through hard objects or multiple targets
Misc
Description You are a man-dragon
Trivia
Notes
  • Flight can be accessed by either Special or Jump key. Dragon Fire can be accessed by either Spell or Attack key.
  • Be sure to equip this hero properly. Dragons deal more damage with higher INT, but gain no benefit from STR, Critical Hit and Sky/Vault runes, and also very little benefit from Siphon runes. This can be both good and bad, since it makes a lot of equipment's stats and upgrades useless but also opens up a lot of options in choosing equipment and runes. It's highly recommended to swap your normal high damage sword for one that grants you armor (Guardian Sword), extra gold (Sage Sword), Vampirism(Blood Sword), or retaliation damage (Retribution Sword).
  • Spell altars will always hold Dragon Fire while playing as a Dragon, so you can freely pick them up to no benefit. Exception for this rule is spell altars found by the Dragon's predecessor, if you have locked down the castle with the Architect. Dragons can also replace their Dragon Fire with the Axe and/or Dagger spells by playing at the Carnival, but this will only last until you leave the room.
  • The dragon upgrade may be difficult to find on the upgrade tree. You need to buy the upgrades on the top right of the family tree and then look for a small flagpole. then you need to press the up button and then you will find the dragon class upgrade.

Misc
Description A risky hero. Low stats  but can land devastating critical strikes.
Trivia

Both the Knave and Assassin have a black cloud following them.
This has no function and is only for visual effect.

Notes
  • Casting spells in Mist Form does not end the effect, even if it hits.
  • The Assassin class is more suited towards endgame / New Game+ scenarios, as with enough time spent into boosting Critical Hit chance and Critical Hit damage, it can surpass Hokage in terms of damage output, lacking only the speed bonus that Hokages have.

  • Spelunkers can even locate hidden chests. They are marked by shaded chest icons.
  • Miners can be helpful early on, but as each playthrough granting 50% gold bonus, their 30% gold bonus can be irrelevant later on. Spelunkers' ability to avoid combat and run straight from chest to chest can still be useful, especially if you find yourself undergeared / underleveled.
